Course Catalog Description:

#1 complaint of CEOs about their budget:  a lack of accountability.

Accountability is like quality—you only notice it when it’s not there.  Companies that create a common and acceptable definition of accountability foster strong commitment and personal responsibility.

This webcast provides participants with the complexities and facets of accountability.  Because accountability has a direct impact on your bottom line, we will explore ways to hold resource managers and employees accountable for their actions and decisions.

Ron Rael, Founder/High Road Leadership Institute, provides you with the insights on how to instill accountability throughout the budget process.  A proper budget enhances governance, while good governance requires an accountability enhancing budget.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this webcast, participants will be able to:

  • Summarize the traits of the High Road budget culture.
  • Clear up the inherit misunderstanding about what accountability in general means and how it is reinforced.
  • Identify and communicate the five ingredients that together with accountability make up the path for ethical conduct.
  • Inspect their organization’s culture to determine if it contains the three cornerstones for a culture of accountability.
  • Diagram for others what goes into leadership integrity.
  • Immediately impact the accountability around their budget process by employing a budget responsibility statement.
